With a silicone cushion, the Respironics Amara is the smallest, most lightweight traditional full face mask on the market. This option provides great seal performance, and is attractive for patients who prefer the look and feel of clear silicone.
Recommended replacement annually, with cushion being replaced as needed for proper seal. Wipe down once a day with a damp cloth and wash in warm, soapy water once a week with a gentle soap.

New Amara
This is bigger on my face than what I am used to but seems to be working well enough. It certainly lets me know during my night's tossing and turning when the seal is compromised as it sounds like a wind tunnel but with readjustment it is fine. I am glad to be able to confidently sleep on my back which is when my apnea is the most frequent.
